1. What are the registration dates?

• 6U and 8U: July 13 through August 17, 2023
• 10U: August 15 through September 12, 2023
• 12U and 14U: September 19 through October 19, 2023

2. What are the Age requirements?

• Participants must be 5 to 14 years old.
  • They must be 5 and cannot be 15 on or before June 1.

3. What Flag Football Leagues are being offered?

There are 4 Leagues of Flag Football

• 14U Senior League to Ages 13 and 14 years old
• 12U Junior League to Ages 11 and 12 years old
• 10U Small Fry League to Ages 9 and 10 years old
• 8U Pee-Wee League to Ages 7 and 8 years old
• 6U Training League to Ages 5 and 6 years old

4. Where do I register?

5. What are the Registration Fees?

• Resident (inside City of FWB city limits): $25
• Non-Resident: $45

6. Will I need to bring my child's Birth Certificate?

If your child has not played any sports for the City of FWB, we will need to verify their date of birth by seeing an official document (birth certificate, shot records, etc.) that provides that date. We do not make a copy and will not need to see it for future registrations.

7. Will there be Tryouts for this league?

• There are No Tryouts for the 6U, 8U, and 10U Flag Football Leagues.
• Dates for the Tryouts for the 12U and 14U Flag Football League are TBD.

8. When will Practice begin?

• Practice will begin in Late August for the 6U and 8U Programs,
• Mid-September for 10U, and Late October for 12U and 14U.

9. Where are Practices and Games held?

Practices and games will be located at

• 14U Senior, 12U Junior, Preston Hood Athletic Complex
• 8U Pee-Wee, 10U Small Fry League- City Hall Fields on Coral Drive
• 6U Training League - City Hall Fields on Coral Dr

10. How often will a team practice?

Teams usually practice 2 nights a week and possibly Saturday morning prior to games beginning.

11. What nights are the Games played on?

• 6U Training League - TBD
• 8U League - Monday and Wednesday at 6 and 7 pm.
• 10U League - Tuesday and Thursday at 6 and 7 pm.
• 12U and 14U Leagues - TBD

12. When will the Season begin?

13. When will the season End?

The season should end by

• 6U Training League through Late September
• 8U League through Mid-October
• 10U League through Early November
• 12U League through Late November
• 14U League through Early December

14. How many games will they play?

Typically, there are 8 games scheduled, depending on how many teams we have in the league.

15. Can my Daughter play?

Yes! All of our leagues are CO-ED.

16. Are Siblings placed on the same team?

Yes! As long as siblings are age-eligible for the same league, they will be placed on the same team.

17. What equipment does my child need to have?

Cleated Shoes if possible.

A mouthpiece is optional but recommended.

18. Are Coaches needed?

YES! We are always looking for volunteer coaches for all of our youth sports leagues.

Yes! We are always looking for sponsors for all of our youth sports leagues.
