The goal of the Community Redevelopment Agency of Fort Walton Beach, Florida is to eliminate slum and blight using strategies that promote reinvestment and revitalization in the community. The Fort Walton Beach CRA was established November 22, 1977 in accordance with Chapter 163, Part III and Chapter 189 of the Florida Statutes and encompasses downtown, uptown, and midtown Fort Walton Beach.
