Raised in this community and now raising my family in this community. A husband to Shannon and a father to Neyland, Bennett, and Malachi. I will honor our heritage while being a part of planning for generations to come.
Spending six years working as a contracting specialist and contracting officer for a private contractor, I had the opportunity to maintain healthy relationships through negotiating contracts and Collective Bargaining Agreements with multiple DOD agencies as well as the FAA. Serving the customer and coworkers while maintaining fiscal accountability is foundational to what we need to do in our homes, businesses, and government.
Currently serving our future leaders as a Principal. Having a vision for our school, students, and teachers is a mission I have every day that is fulfilling. The opportunity to teach our students life lessons while receiving an education is humbling.
Through the generosity of individuals and businesses in this community, it's been a privilege to serve our youth by raising funds to provide sponsors for 200 free youth memberships so they could access and enjoy the Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center.
Volunteering our time is just as important. I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to volunteer while teaching a financial literacy course over the last three years and continue to teach at different churches in the community. I also volunteer on the board for Blessing of the Emerald Coast. Proverbs 22:6.
