1. What are the Registration dates?

August 24 through September 19, 2023

2. What are the Age requirements?

Participants must be 5 to 6 years old.

They must be 5 and cannot be 7 on or before January 1.

3. Where do I register?

• Fort Walton Beach (FWB) Recreation Center
  132 Jet Drive. NW

• Monday through Friday
  8 am to 5 pm

4. What are the Registration Fees?

• Resident (inside City of FWB city limits): $25
• Non-Resident: $45

5. Will I need to bring my child's Birth Certificate?

If your child has not played any sports for the City of FWB, we will need to verify their date of birth.

Please bring a birth certificate, shot records, or other official document that provides that date. We do not make a copy and will not need to see it for future registrations.

6. Will there be Tryouts for this league?

There are No Tryouts for this league.

7. Where are Practices and Games held?

Practices and games will be located at the FWB Recreation Center at 132 Jet Drive.

8. How often will a team practice?

Teams usually practice 2 nights a week at 5:30 or 6:30 pm and possibly Saturday morning. Practices will be an hour-long prior to the season beginning.

9. What nights are the Games played on?

Games nights are TBD at 5:45 and 6:45

10. When will the season Begin?

Games should begin by mid-October.

11. When will the season End?

The season should end by Mid November, depending on the number of teams.

12. How many games will they play?

There are usually 6 to 8 games scheduled.

13. Can my Daughter play?

Yes! All of our leagues are CO-ED.

14. Are Siblings placed on the same team?

Yes! As long as siblings are age-eligible for the same league, they will be placed on the same team.

15. What equipment does my child need to have?

Athletic Shorts and Tennis Shoes!

The Recreation Department will supply basketballs for each team and team jerseys for each player.

16. Are Coaches needed?

We are always looking for volunteer coaches for all of our youth sports leagues.

17. Are Sponsors needed?

Yes! We are always looking for sponsors for all of our youth sports leagues.
