Thanksgiving holiday hours for city offices and facilities

The City of Fort Walton Beach offices and facilities will have modified hours during the week of Thanksgiving to allow our employees to spend time with their families. Changes to normal operating hours for each office or facility are listed below.

All offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, Nov. 27. Normal operating hours for each office or facility can be found at www.fwb.org.  

Please note, there will be no change to fire or police operations, and the Police Station lobby will remain open with communications personnel on duty.



CITY HALL (All offices)

Wednesday:  Open 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Thurs-Fri: Closed

 

FIRE DEPARTMENT (Visitor’s lobby)

Wednesday: Open 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Thurs-Fri: Closed

 

GOLF CLUB

Thursday: Open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. (for check-in) and to 5 p.m. (for driving range)

 

HERITAGE PARK AND CULTURAL CENTER

Thurs-Sat: Closed

 

LIBRARY

Thurs-Sat: Closed

 

POLICE DEPARTMENT (Records Department)

Wednesday: Open 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Thurs-Fri: Closed

 

PUBLIC WORKS FIELD OFFICE (Visitor’s lobby)

Sanitation office will be open Wednesday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closed Thursday through Friday.

Public Utilities office will be closed Wednesday through Friday. To report a lift station or pump station failure after hours, call the Police Department’s general information line at 850-833-9546.

 

RECREATION CENTER

Wednesday: Open 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Thurs-Saturday: Closed
