Veterans Day office closures

City of Fort Walton Beach office closures for the Veterans Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 10.

All City Hall offices including Growth Management, Finance and Customer Service, and Human Resources will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, and closed on Friday, Nov. 10.

  •  The Public Works and Utility Services Lobby will be open from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, and closed Friday, Nov. 10.  Note: Commercial and residential trash will be collected as normal, but there will be no pickup of yard waste or bulk items on Friday. To report a lift or pump station failure after hours, call the Police Department’s general information line at 850-833-9546.
  •  The Fort Walton Beach Public Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.
  •  The Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park and Cultural Center museums will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9 and will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11.
  •  The Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10 and closed on Saturday, Nov. 11 for a Lacrosse tournament.
  •  Fort Walton Beach Golf Course will be open Friday, Nov. 10, for regular hours (6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  •  The Fire Department’s business lobby will be open Thursday, Nov. 9 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and closed Friday, Nov. 10.  Firefighters will still be on duty and in case of an emergency dial 911.
  •  The Police Station lobby will remain open Friday and officers will still be on duty to respond. The Police Department’s Records Office will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.
