City of Fort Walton Beach employees poured concrete sidewalks around the new restroom building at Ferry Park last week. The prefabricated concrete building has four individual restrooms with electronic locks and two water fountains attached to the structure’s exterior. The new restroom building is located at the south end of the park near the entrance to the disc golf course.
Water and electricity have been hooked up to the building. There are still additional concrete repairs to make to the curbs, and the area around the restrooms still needs to be landscaped with grass. The restrooms are expected to be open in the next two weeks.
