City recognizes Managers, Employees of the Year

Employee of the Year plaque.

City of Fort Walton Beach Managers and Employees of the Year.

The City of Fort Walton Beach recently recognized its employees and managers of the year as part of Florida Government Week. Those city employees honored were:

CITY CLERK: Amber Ford was recognized by City Clerk Kim Barnes as the clerk’s office employee of the year.

FINANCE: Markus Schumacher was recognized by Finance Director Nicole Nabors as the department’s manager of the year. George Imperial (not pictured) was recognized as the department’s employee of the year.

FIRE DEPARTMENT: Fire Chief Jeremy Morgan recognized Jackson Tona as the department’s employee of the year and Matthew Baxley as the department’s manager of the year.

GROWTH MANAGEMENT: Growth Management Director Chris Frassetti recognized Richard Taylor as the department’s employee of the year and Josh Stevens as the department’s manager of the year.

HUMAN RESOURCES: Human Resources Director Tarey Franxman recognized Craig Vinson as the department’s employee of the year and Derek Mattingly as the department’s manager of the year.

POLICE DEPARTMENT:  Police Chief Robert Bage recognized Dustin Rosenburg and Sheila Mercier as the department’s employees of the year and Brandon Chapin as the department’s manager of the year.

PUBLIC WORKS: Public Works Director Daniel Payne recognized Therese Babauta as the department’s employee of the year and Dusten Henderson as the department’s manager of the year.

RECREATION: Recreation Director Tiffiny Corcoran recognized Polly-Jo Pangelinan as the department’s employee of the year and Library Director Kimberly Ball as the department’s manager of the year.
