MGO portal allows for online permitting, business transactions with city

My Government Online portal allows residents to do business with the city online.

DID YOU KNOW? You don't have to go to City Hall to conduct your city permitting and business transactions?

My Government Online (MGO) is the new City of Fort Walton Beach online portal for Building & Inspection, Planning & Zoning, Business Tax Receipt, and Code Enforcement services, allowing users to view permit/project status, view business tax receipts, pay fees, and report code enforcement issues.

Contractors, Business Owners, and Residents will have the ability to:

  • Apply for Permits
  • Planning Projects
  • Business Tax Receipts (BTRs)
  • Submit application documents electronically
  • Track application progress
  • Request inspections
  • View completed inspection reports
  • Receive real-time email and phone call notifications when an inspection is completed

The MGO customer portal is available through mgoconnect.org. Users can quickly and easily create a user account to begin utilizing all features of MGO. Upon creation of a user account and phone number verification, all applications associated with your phone number will be linked to your account.

If you already have an MGO account created to use in another jurisdiction there is no need to create a new account to use in Fort Walton Beach. Simply log in and select Fort Walton Beach as the jurisdiction to begin submitting applications.
