Overview
The Housing Authority (HA) is responsible for providing safe and sanitary housing at affordable rents for income-qualified families. The Housing Authority works with Section 8 housing in the area.
You are not required to be a City resident to serve on the Housing Authority Board, however, some seats do require that you are a HA tenant. The Housing Authority has seven members who serve four-year terms. Currently, the Authority meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Housing Authority Neighborhood Community Center.
