The Water Operations Division is responsible for the City’s potable water service, ensuring that potable water in Fort Walton Beach meets strict State and Federal regulations and that there is sufficient pressure and storage to meet domestic and firefighting needs.
The Water Distribution Division is responsible for maintaining water mains, service lines, valves, meters, and fire hydrants in the City’s potable water system. The Division is also responsible for the construction of new water infrastructure.
